This Privacy Policy describes how Vantar Group LLC (“AgentAds,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our platform at tryagentads.com and app.tryagentads.com.

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed). Advertisers also provide billing information processed securely by Stripe.

2.2 Usage Data

We collect data about your use of the platform including dashboard activity, campaign performance metrics, and API calls made through our SDK.

2.3 Ad Auction Data

When publishers use our SDK, we receive the text query sent to the AI model to classify it into advertising categories (e.g., “developer tools,” “finance”). We do not store raw user queries — only the derived category and auction result. No user profiles are built. No cookies are set on end users.

2.4 Technical Data

We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps for security and debugging purposes. These are retained for 30 days.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide and improve the AgentAds platform
• To process payments and calculate publisher revenue shares
• To run ad auctions and deliver contextual advertising
• To send transactional emails (payout confirmations, password resets)
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• To comply with legal obligations

4. Contextual Advertising — No User Tracking

AgentAds uses contextual targeting only. We classify the intent of each AI query in real time (taking ~5ms via Claude Haiku) and match it to relevant ads. We do not:

• Set cookies on end users of publisher applications
• Build user profiles or track users across websites
• Use personal data of end users for targeting
• Share end user data with advertisers

Advertisers receive only aggregate performance metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions) — never individual user data.

5. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

• Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy)
• AWS SES — transactional email delivery
• Anthropic (Claude) — real-time query classification (queries are not retained by Anthropic under our API agreement)
• Neon — database hosting (data stored in US-East-1)

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 2 years after deletion. Aggregated ad performance data (no personal information) may be retained indefinitely for analytics. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing
• Data portability

8. GDPR (EU/EEA Users)

For users in the European Union or European Economic Area, our lawful basis for processing is:

• Contract performance — for account management and service delivery
• Legitimate interests — for fraud prevention and platform security
• Legal obligation — where required by law

Data is transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for international data transfers where applicable.

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing, and isolated database access controls. We conduct regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.

AgentAds is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
